A list of fancy (or not-so-fancy) takeout or carryout food options for New Year’s Eve in Columbus, Ohio.
Here it is – 2020 may have been a bust for most of us, but there’s no reason to end it without a good meal! I’ve included a brief but effective list of New Year’s Eve dinner options in the Columbus area that I could find. The first list includes options that are a little fancier (steak dinner, multiple courses, includes a bottle of wine, etc.) And just in case “fancy” isn’t your vibe for the ball drop celebration, I created a second list for some fun carryout options on the cheaper side. The last list includes some dine-in options if you’re hoping to get out of the house for the first time in 9 months. Hope this helps, and see you in 2021!
“Fancy” Carryout Options for New Years Eve in Columbus, Ohio
Elevator Brewery and Draught House – $75 for a bottle of wine or beer growler, an appetizer, a salad, two entrees, and a dessert.
Barrel & Boar – $60 for a 3 course meal for 2 people – add on option for Prosecco!
Hudson 29 Cameron Mitchell – $135 for a 3 course meal for 2 people
*Other Cameron Mitchell restaurants will have certain specials available for carryout, call the specific restaurant to find out what it is!*
Monte Carlo Italian Kitchen – $35 for 2 entrees of chicken parm with spaghetti, penne, or lasagna, 2 house salads, and cheesy garlic bread. Add a bottle of wine for $12.
Lupo on Arlington – $85 per person for New Year’s Eve Menu (Italian)
Nosh on High – $50 per person for a 3 course dinner
G. Michael’s Bistro and Bar – Preorder for a special carry out menu will start at noon on New Year’s Eve. Pick up will be available starting at 5:20pm.
Z Cucina – Date Night Menu is $65 and includes charcuterie + cheese, insalata for 2, any 2 pastas or pizzas, dessert trio, and a bottle of wine.
The Berwick – $100 serves 2 for a “Celebration Box” which includes your choice of 5 appetizers, New Year’s Hats, horns, and prosecco.
Alqueria Restaurant– $75 per person for a 4 course dinner
Service Bar – “Around the World” dinner for 2 that is inspired by new year celebrations that don’t occur on January 1st. Their five-course dinner includes a shrimp tostada, crab jahl masala, duck gnocchi, kalbi short rib, and Thai tea and mango for dessert.
The Whitney House – $125 for a meal for 2 (add on half bottle of bubbly for $15)
Cooper’s Hawk New “Cheer’s” Eve Special – Serves 2 people for $139.99 heat and serve meal kit. Wine pairings available.
Tucci’s Dublin – $90 per person pre fixe carryout menu
“Casual” or Non-Traditional Carryout Options for New Years Eve in Columbus, Ohio
King Gyro’s – $19.95 for Greek Surf & Turf New Years Eve Meal (includes 3 lamb Chops – 6 oz and a 8 oz char-grilled Salmon on a bed of Greek rice with a side of Greek salad)
Mario Fazios Cloud Kitchen – $19 per person for the holiday special menu.
Grove City Brewing Company – $70 for a 4-course prix fixe menu.
Brown Bag Deli – $80 for a New Year’s Appetizer Box (serves 2 people). Includes burrata with roasted cherry tomatoes, firecracker meatballs, blueberry balsamic goat cheese crostini, charcuterie kebabs, french onion dip with chips, bacon dill chive deviled eggs, fruity chicken salad sliders and a mystery 4-pack of beer from BrewDog!
Grandview Cafe – Option #1 is a $40 to-go box that includes 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, 2 sides, and a bottle of champagne or a growler. Option #2 is a $75 box that includes 2 pizzas, 2 lbs of wings, and 2 bottles of champagne or 2 growlers.
Natalie’s Coal Fired – $100 for 2 people, includes live stream concert with the great Teeny Tucker (from their Facebook page or YouTube channel starting at 10:30 pm). Also includes Party favors, Cocktail Flight (Euro Flight or Around the World), Charcuterie & Cheese, Half Bottle Roederer California Brut, 1 Hot Buttered Rum, 1 Pastry.
Gokul Cafe – $74.99 feeds a family of four, includes many vegan options
Local Roots – $32 gets you accessorized! The F*CK 2020 Package includes a pair of F*CK 2020 Champagne Glasses, a bottle of Pierre Delize Brut, 2 Noise Blowers with a celebratory Tiara and Hat!

ROOH – 5-course tasting menu ($60/person), with an optional wine pairing ($80/person)
Elevator Brewery and Draught House – In addition to their regular menu, Dine In features include a lobster tail surf and turf on their iconic rock, a ribeye, oscar style mahi, and specially curated cocktails and desserts.
